Accounts Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a studio / accounts office manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our studio workflow and providing account management services to our portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing regular updates and reports to our clients on project status, budgets, and key milestones.
  • Collaborate with the creative and project management teams to track project timings, costs and deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, communicating client feedback and ensuring it is addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Provide accounts support to the Managing Director including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing for client projects and track payments received.
  • Monitor studio expenses and budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional services to existing clients and drive revenue growth.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounting, finance, and client management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business management, preferably in a creative agency or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Intuit Quickbooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about client relationships and project management.
  • Highly organised with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CRM systems or project management software is a plus.
  • Confident, positive, and proactive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to work well independently, manage own time and workflow effectively.
