Middleweight Brand Designer
We are seeking a talented and creative Middleweight Brand Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to bring creative concepts to life. As a Middleweight Graphic Designer, you will work closely with our strategic and creative teams to develop compelling visual assets that effectively communicate client specific brand messaging.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and design a wide range of marketing materials including but not limited to brand identities, digital ads, social media graphics, email campaigns, print collateral, presentations, packaging design and website assets.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to develop creative strategies and concepts that align with our clients brand identities and marketing objectives.
- The ideal candidate will be expected to create engaging and visually appealing designs that capture the attention of specific target audiences and effectively communicate required brand messaging.
- Ensure all designs are on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and align with brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design quality and effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a creative, marketing or agency environment.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, layout, and composition.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts to our clients and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Experience with UX/UI design is an advantage.
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.
